For the flowers she focused solely on decorating the barn, and wanted her guests to feel like they were walking into a Southern Night with the sweet smell of flowers. We decorated both chandeliers at Greengate and the 4 posts with over 100 gardenias, lilies, stock, hydrangea and foliages.

Molly + Ryan's Grace Maralyn Estate Wedding

In June we had the pleasure of designing the flowers and coordinating the beautiful wedding for Molly and Ryan. The wedding took place at the beautiful Grace Maralyn Estate and Gardens and was the perfect backdrop for these two amazing friends! Molly had a beautiful vision of loose garden-style flowers, with pops of corals, which you'll see pop of this page in the photos. I absolutely LOVED creating her bouquet, so I hope you enjoy the images as much as I loved designing the flowers for this sweet couple!

Creative outlet - the {Be You} Workshop

As a floral designer we are creative in nature, but most of the time we are creating for clients, whether it be a bride, specific event or weekly client, so although we are having fun creating with flowers, we usually have guidelines or boundaries the florals have to fit within.  With that said, I think any floral designer out there, if given the chance to create designs with no boundaries and just the freedom of where their mind and flowers that lie in front of them will take them, well, we jump at that chance. It's always like hitting a refresh button when I get this chance and it reminds me why I love my job. When I heard the rockin' tag team of Sarah Kathleen Photography and Lindsey Gomes Photography were teaming up to host the first ever "Be You" Photography workshop I knew florals would add an awesome dimension to teaching their students how these two can capture those amazing colors and textures, so I jumped in with my floral creations and this is what happened....

They didn't give me any guidelines, which is what every floral designer wants to hear, so I came up with the two concepts, that were very different from each other.

One a bit more free-flowing and eclectic with the focal point of the King Protea with the beautiful trailing jasmine vine, and the other quite edgy with a sharp color of the purple vanda orchids, to each is own but all that matters is I had so much fun doing this pieces.
